In getting rid of bed bugs, there are three things you must know about them and you can learn them by reading this.
If you have read all the many articles and listened and seen all the many programs and news pieces concentrated on the new onslaught of bed beds, then this article is for you. First, a short history of this malicious pest and what it looks like, should we be concerned with it and if so, what is the best way to exterminate the problem?
In the early 19th century bed bugs were the scurge of the United States. Year ’round in the temperate climates, but also in the heat of the summers in the northeast corriders, bed bugs expanded. Finally within the next 50 years or so, science found chemicals and processes to all but elimate them. Now, however, those chemicals and processes, weakened by federal regulation and such, this bug is again on the rise.
Now then, armed with this information, should we be afraid or worried about this rising infestation? For the most part, they are nocturnal, mainly, carry serious diseases (HIV, Hepititus B, etc.), mainly infest the tropical climates, but also the hot summers of our northeastern cities and satisfy off their victims as they sleep. That’s all the down side, but, in our favor, is the fact that the diseases they carry can’t be effectively delivered by the bugs, so other than the harsh itching and frustration, that’s about all they can do!
So, my thought would be to get rid of them in an effective, speedy manner and there is a good way to accomplish that. Some new modern chemicals and other scientific finds seem to work pretty well on the pests, but less expensive and more sure is an age-old cure that works extremely well at eradicating them in an efficient manner. Steam is the best agent to use to rid yourself of these bugs. Whether you or the specialized, use steam cleaning to kill them. It is quick, it is easy and it is final! The bed bugs can’t live in any tempreture 113 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
In conclusion, we’ve learned that bed bugs are on the rise in the United States again and they can carry many dreaded diseases as most pests can, however, other than being a number one menace and nuisance to our ability to sleep peacably and live a comfortable life, when they do become a personal problem, it can be taken care of in a simple, quick and effective manner.
